Writing a Literature Review
As deadline dates are approaching thick and fast, I have realised that I have collected lots of articles and been preparing my essay for draft submission however I have not spent much time on writing a Literature Review.

It is a great video and her blog post breaks it down amazingly, it has certainly helped me in being able to grasp what is expected from the literature review.
My plan over the next week, is to re-read the articles that I have collected and start to write short summaries about each. I am hoping that once I have completed this, I will notice familiarities and contrasts within the articles, and be able to group them together. I am hoping that this will make writing the literature review a little easier and may also help with jogging my memory about these articles when completing Module Three.

Hi Paul, thank you for sharing the link to Serina's blog where you can find out more about the literature review video. I have also been a bit stuck when it comes to my literature review, but this has been reassuring. I think it is great that you have collected lots of articles, it's just as you say, how to display the information.

ReplyDeleteI found this video and blog really useful too from the group student skype. I have never done a literature review before, so I did find it daunting and a lot of uncertainty about if I was doing it 'right'. I think once you have done the research and the information, you are half way there! I just found it hard where to stop because I wanted to keep on finding more. Thank you for this post

Hi Paul, thank you for sharing the blog and Serina's video links. If i'm honest the literature review is definitely something that i'm worried about. I think in theory i know what i should be doing, but its the doing it that i'm defiantly putting off! I'll take a look at the video and hopefully be able to get something down on paper. I feel like i've done a lot of reading so far so there must be simething there to piece together.
